What's great about real estate is that it uses every part of you. To be a successful Realtor® you also have to be a psychologist, a financial planner, an advisor, interior decorator, advertising wizard, marketing specialist, writer, communicator, negotiator, hand-holder and most importantly, a problem solver.
I've sold every type of home -- from condos to million dollar mansions -- since I began my real estate career in 1986. It's a career that's been good to me and most importantly, stimulates me mentally and teaches me new things every day.
Graduating Cum Laude from USC with double scholarships and majoring in journalism with a minor in art, I developed excellent writing and marketing skills. I used those skills to open my own advertising/public relations business. I discovered it was very important to me that I represent my clients with the highest degree of professionalism. When I went into real estate, those same skills and dedication to professionalism proved to be a definite advantage in my new career.
Now I use my advertising background to prepare a dynamic strategic marketing plan when I list your home for sale. There is so much more to selling your home than just putting it in the Multiple Listing Service.
I've always loved making things look beautiful. So it made perfect sense for me to get the training necessary to become an Accredited Staging® Professional™, one of the strongest skills I offer clients. Staging your home to make an emotional impact on the buyer just makes sense, because buyers make decisions with their heart.
This unique combination of skills allows me to offer clients a bundle of services that they wouldn't normally find in one person. It's like hiring an art director, advertising copywriter and marketing director all in one! That level of expertise allows me to produce great results for my buyers and sellers.

When I'm not selling real estate, you're likely to find me on the American River Bike Trail or in a pool somewhere. After having completed 4 marathons and 5 triathlons and raising thousands of dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, I've been bitten by the bug and crave spending time outdoors.
My husband, Steve, and I have been married since 1975 and have five children. We love kids and are both active at Christ Unity Church where Steve was Youth Education Director and is now Executive Director and I've been a sponsor for Youth of Unity, our teen group, since 1992.
